Don't think that just because I haven't posted Thanksgiving pics until now that I'm not grateful! It has been a busy/crazy couple of weeks and I am more thankful than ever for good friends, good people, family, grace and tender mercies.
Thanksgiving was spent at Kelli's. I was so thankful that it wasn't at my house this year. I was also grateful that I had most of the morning to do my food preparations.
Sophie needed to fuel up in order to do the following.....(see next pic)
She and Jill made quick work of the previously tidy bedroom during final meal prep.
There was a great deal of panic and tears on the girl's part when they were told they needed to clean up. They were very thankful that the clean up crew showed up to help.
I couldn't be more thankful for these two amazing women in my life. My sisters are my lifelines. They strengthen me, support me and make me laugh!
My nieces, Emma and Kate. They just happen to be Hailee and Gabe's ages and best friends. I couldn't be more grateful for the example and love of cousins!
Jill knows her way around a kitchen. Thankfully she was around to give her dad a hand with the whipped cream.
Okay... So our turkey looks a little naked this year. My fault. I was a little slow in getting him up. Try not to judge me. I am just thankful I remembered anything at all. Like I said...it's been a crazy month.
